You Really Need To Know!

There are things we need to know – sometimes for ourselves. Then there are the things others need for us to know! In this case, I think both things are true! Let me explain…

You Need To Know

In terms of communicating with followers, volunteers and supporters, things have been too quiet lately. A great deal of frustrating and tedious work has been going on behind the scenes. Some of it continues.

With that said, let me say a public Thank You to Hutch. You probably don’t remember previous metions of him but you see the result of his work every time you look at a post or see our websites.

I’ll never forget taking that leap of faith into mission ministry as a full-time pursuit. I prayed one of those urgent prayers asking God to direct me to someone who could create and manage a much-needed website. I had a full page of search results on my laptop. My eye was drawn to his name and I never made the second call! God is good.

In the most recent newsletter I shared the fact that I was systematically reaching out to people online for the purpose of increasing awareness of EquipUs and its ministry. Increased awareness leads to more volunteers for mission teams as well as more new donors. All of it is necessary.

I asked to you pray about that work. So, Thank You for being faithful. I’ve seen the evidence of that faithfulness as I’ve met some awesome people who have businesses and/or ministries of their own.

Another need to know item is really a reminder – and something I’m excited to share with you. That excitement made the cover image seem quite appropriate.

Reminder And A Head’s Up!

Internet InterestsYou may remember that I said you would see some of the results of this new outreach under the Around The Internet feature image. Newsletter subscribers will see the next Around The Internet post tomorrow. This post is public.

With that said, I’d like to add just a brief word to what is in tomorrow’s email piece (for EquipUs subscribers!)

I had a great time meeting Dr. Leslie Davis. She and her husband have a ministry in Missouri. After our initial conversation, we both agreed to do some mutual promotion of our ministries. Yesterday, I was Leslie’s guest on her Mindshift podcast. Scripture says a great deal to us about the battle ground of our minds (Romans 12:1-2) and taking every thought captive for Kingdom purposes. Leslie helps people do that.

When the podcast episode is published, I’ll be sure and share a link here with all of you. That will be about as close as I can come to introducing you to Leslie. Until then, please know there will be some really helpful info in tomorrow’s newsletter about Leslie. And please feel free to share tomorrow’s info with others who might need to make a connection.

Soli Deo Gloria!
