Helpful ResourcesEveryone needs a list of helpful resources. Why? Ever felt like you were in a rut? Do we all face difficulty? And what about the times we just need to get back on track? These situations, and many others, are easier to navigate if we have reliable resources to help steer us along. So I suggest you check out these 10 helpful resources. And if you have others you can recommend, please share that in the comments sections. Helping others is what this blog/ministry is all about!

Helpful Resources: YouVersion

Helpful ResourcesThe Bible is the resource. YouVersion is an electronic Bible. It can be added to your mobile phone, tablet, or computer. It is available from their site and the major app providers will also have it available for download. With YouVersion you can read in a number of reliable translations. But it also has an audio feature. If you are on the go it’s possible to play your daily Bible reading selection during your drive time. And that brings me to the reading plans. There are quite a few. Just pick a plan from the available menu and you will have quite a resource in your efforts to be a diligent, faithful Bible student.

Helpful Resources: Upper Room

This blog encompasses a wide section of Christianity. There are many viewpoints expressed. And a great deal of that is around real life issues faced by real people. The About section for the site gives the following info:

The Upper Room® is a global ministry dedicated to supporting the spiritual formation of Christians seeking to know and experience God more fully. From its beginnings as a daily devotional guide, The Upper Room has grown to include publications, programs, prayer support, and other resources to help believers of all ages and denominations move to a deeper level of faith and service. The Upper Room is a part of Discipleship Ministries.

Helpful Resources: Relevant Magazine

Helpful ResourcesI have referenced and shared items from this site many times. The writers help readers apply Scripture in relevant, contemporary situations. If you want to get insights into thinking Biblically about current events then Relevant Magazine should be one of the tools in your toolbox!
Since this is just one resource with an eye for contemporary items it reminds us to be well rounded. And that reminds us that any post on any site by any writer should be viewed with discernment and tested against the Scriptures. Only Jesus was right 100% of the time!

Helpful Resources: Focus On Women

There are many devotional resources for women. Some tend to be issue driven and others are about age groups or stages of life. These two embrace a more general outlook. Readers will find help with a number of challenges and issues in these posts. So, ladies, check out iBelieve and incourage.me

Reviews and Recommendations

Reviews and Recommendations is my way to share some of the resources I encounter. This post lacks a resource specifically for men. But I’ll do another one soon and maybe we will begin that post with a few resources for the fellas!
